46

It’s over. I did it. I beat my record of 42 pushups in 90 seconds and completed 46 military pushups. This morning. Before ten A.M. Before breakfast.

Here is my drill sergeant Michelle.

Here is Michelle’s husband and almost two-year old son. I like this shot. It’s full of life, n’est pas? Doesn’t it make you want to donate? There is still time. One woman raised over three thousand dollars. She must have a lot of friends.

Another sunlit shot of the adorable family. Adorbs, as my hip NY friend says. She has not donated yet. I think I donated once to her cause. Yes I think I did.

Here is the whole group. Do we not look almost spiritual? Sent by God to pushup for charity? Kind of makes you want to get involved, huh?

Oh look, here is another shot. Notice how Baby C is eating his shirt! Aw, let’s give money to wounded soldiers.

This artful attempt below is of my new workout friend Alicia. She has lovely eyes. You can’t see them in this picture. She has a nice camera too. Somewhere in that camera are photos of me pushing up.

There are my feet. What is it about taking pictures of my feet? It’s a satisfying shot again and again. Hello shadow.

Here below is a shot I took of a poster hanging on the church bulletin board. We did our event in a church. That reminds me, I have a churchy kind of friend who hasn’t donated yet. Donate, churchy kind of friend. You know who I mean. Amen.

This boy makes me think of pedophile priests. Why is that? I’m thinking maybe it’s not the best idea to have such a seductive, alluring poster of a nubile blond castrati in the church hallway for all to see. The ruff alone. Jesus Christ. Elfin magic.

I did 46 pushups. If you donated fifty cents for each pushup, it’d be what, $23? Is that right? What about a quarter? $11.50? A quarter per military pushup by yours truly? Sounds like a benevolent, noble thing to do. Think of it as a donation to the blog. An entertainment fee. I don’t even have ads. Hell, maybe you should just send me a check and I’ll donate it to myself.

Okay enough nagging for one day.

A bon weekend!

Shalom and xx
